Al‑Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. By sharing our strength, courage, and hope in common experiences, and by applying the Al-Anon principles, families and friends of alcoholics can bring positive changes to their individual situations, whether or not the alcoholic admits the existence of a drinking problem or seeks help.

Meetings are open to families and friends of alcoholics. Noted meetings also welcome observers. There’s no need to RSVP — all are welcome at Al-Anon.

While the Al-Anon World Service Organization (WSO) manages all meeting information, our office extracts the meetings local to Middle Tennessee and publishes them here on our Where & When list, which you can bookmark or download for your convenience.

  • What is Al-Anon/Alateen?

Al-Anon Family Groups is a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope with each other in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family disease and that changed attitudes can aid recovery
